Description
In Trinidad & Tobago it is a habit during the holidays to spend time at the beach. With holiday homes gradually taking up the Landscape, the old humble homes of the fishermen are becoming extinct. I love painting what used to be in the past and what really gave the seascape the real flavour of the fisher folk earning a living from the sea. I especially enjoy painting the waves on the east coast of Trinidad as it gives the sea the character of strength and abandonment.
